Students

Select each student's grade and indicate which benefits you are requesting. The multi-student discount applies to tuition and required fees. Selecting a listed constituent church requests both the $100 registration discount and the $1,000 constituent member tuition discount for that student. The early-enrollment registration discount is applied automatically when the original application date is between February 1 and May 1, inclusive. Pre-K students are not eligible for the Hispanic or NPUC HOPE scholarships, and an eligible student may request only one of those two scholarships. All eligibility is verified by AJA.

Alaska PFD committed Many parents choose to precommit all or part of the Alaska Permanent Fund Dividend they expect to receive for their child toward tuition. AK homeschool / correspondence dual-enrollment committed Eligible AJA students in K–8 and AJA Supported JR. High may dual-enroll in an Alaska correspondence or homeschool program. Depending on the program, families may receive roughly $2,600–$2,700 per student in education allotment or reimbursement funding that can be used toward eligible tuition or classes. The process is generally straightforward, and AJA can help families with enrollment and paperwork upon request. Pre-K students are not eligible for homeschool/dual-enrollment funds. In mixed-grade families, these funds are applied only to eligible non-Pre-K students.

It does not apply to fees, previous balances, the Alaska PFD commitment, or an initial payment. Because the PFD is a future commitment, it is also not deducted from the amount that must be paid now to receive the paid-in-full discount.
